The work provide power supply from Avaza (Mainland) to Kizıl-Su Island by Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method to install trenches pipes to enable the power cable to be lay. Two horizontal drilling get a diameter 30cm have be carried out to installation of 2 nos X App.850m length Polyethylene Pipes (OD. 20cm) to pulling 10 kW Electrical Cables below 15m depth from sea bed level. 250 tons pulling capacity Horizontal Drilling Rig has been utilized to these drilling and pulling operation.

The South Yoloten Gas Field Development Project is a new facility being developed in the aforesaid region. The proposed facility consists of Central Processing Facilities (CPF), Gas Treatments Units, Gas Export Pipeline and many other units and facilities. NCC is awarded with the contract for construction of the 10kV OHL from CPF 1 to Shatlyk Compression Station along the Gas Export Pipeline, which was subjected to this geotechnical investigation.

The subsoil investigations consisted of drilling a total of 67nos boreholes together with standard penetration test (SPT) , excavation of 5 nos test pits, 6 nos plate load tests (PLT), 15 nos of in-situ density tests and 43 nos of electrical resistivity tests.

The subsoil investigations consisted of drilling a total of 160 nos boreholes together with standard penetration test (SPT) and excavation of 140 nos test pits up to 2.0m depth, execution of 440 nos electrical resistivity test, 6 nos cone penetration tests and carrying out laboratory testinng and geotechnical reporting.

ONSHORE GAS TERMINAL AREA
The fieldwork of the Investigation included drilling of total 20 nos boreholes, 5 nos testpits execution of 20 nos piezocone tests, 2 nosof siesmic downhole test and 3 nos soil resistivity survey

ONSHORE PIPELINE
The fieldwork of the investigation included drilling of total 41 nos boreholes, 22 nod testpits and execution of 58 nos soil resistivity measurements at boreholes and testpit location.
