Construction of two rubble mound breakwaters as the initial stage of the outer harbour development of Tripoli.
The scope of the works involved the construction of ferry boat and cargo ships on R.C. Piles, breakwaters and shore protection works. The length of the reubble mound breakwater is 1650m.
The length of the piled quay is 150m.
The contract comprises the construction of Yacht Marina in Tripoli. The works comprise breakwaters, quay wall, piled piers and outdoor lightening.
The project covered the construction of precast production, transportation and installation works.
The project covers the construction of a shiplift system for seagoing vessels up to 500 tons.
A port development project to serve the Misurata Steel Complex to be established in the town of Misurata located at 210 km. East of Tripoli, Libya. The scope covers the onstruction of breakwaters, bulk berth, small craft harbour, dredging and reclamation.
The project covers placing geotextile and reclamation works.
The Main Port consists of three general cargo berths which presently handle salt, break – bulk, general cargo and containers, and two dry bulk berths one of which handles crushed stone and the other has been leased to an international oil company.
The project covers the construction of replacement of front row runway beams, repairing all concrete structures, office building renovation, replacement of bearing pads, cathodic protection of fender piles.
The project consists of the demolishing and reconstruction of the Breakwater upper structure (700 m in length) and the loading quay for Napth, Urea, Ammonia and Methanol which is still in use of Sirte Oil Company, and other repair works.
