STFA was established in 1938 by Sezai Türkeş and Feyzi Akkaya and operates both domestically and internationally, and is an important actor both in the local and international markets with its pioneering and leading position in the Turkish construction sector.
As the first Turkish contractor to open out to the international markets, STFA operated in Libya and later expanded its operations in 24 foreign markets in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.
STFA became a company of comprehensive engineering and construction solutions with its five independent business units (Maritime Construction, Petroleum, Gas & Energy, Foundation Engineering, Engineering and Management Consulting) that have become specialized in their own fields, and it completes important projects with the integrated solutions the company devises.
STFA İnşaat A.Ş. plays an active role in the fields of design and construction for infrastructure works, roads and highways, bridges, tunnels and dams and maritime structures.
